因為成長於農村的背景，我不樂於看見農地被販售，認為買賣土地的行為有別於農耕中的土地，農耕以勞作中的身體與土地進行物質層面的互動，而插在農地上的售字廣告立牌反其道而行，以售字呈現人類支配土地的姿態。一面是我對家鄉圖景、身體勞動的擁護，另一面我思考：對土地田園樣式的支持，是否如同售字一樣，運作著人類的邏輯，單向支配著地景運作？從對外部的質疑，到反省自身，矛盾於無法提出土地樣式的標準答案，便無法堅定立足於某個立場，畢竟在土地之上實際且兼容地存在不同人、不同物種，實踐複雜而豐富的路徑。

於是，我以創作行動叩問生活裡的地景與社會現狀，以及關於「土地、身體（農耕）、售字立牌」三者的關係。藉由我對土地狀態的困惑及認知矛盾提出創作方法：以農作材料販售土地，以售字立牌來耕作，啟動「方法一：混用差異的矛盾」、「方法二：物質關聯」，實踐為作品《耕作一塊可以賣的地》。本文書寫包括：創作前的問題意識、創作方法和作品《耕作一塊可以賣的地》的實踐與展演。

Because of my upbringing in a rural village, the sight of farmland for sale makes me unhappy. I believe that the act of buying and selling land is detached from the land under cultivar. Farming involves a physical interaction between the laboring body and the land, whereas placing a “For Sale” sign on the ground represents the opposite. It uses the words “For Sale” to assert human dominance over the land. This, on the one hand, reflects my protectiveness over my hometown and the value of physical labor; on the other hand, I wonder: is advocating for the pastoral style of land use any different from the “For Sale” sign, with both operating under human logic in the unilateral domination over the landscape?
From doubting the external world to reflecting on the self, the dilemma lies in the impossibility of reaching a definitive answer regarding land use. One can never firmly adhere to a single position. After all, in reality, different people and species coexist on the land, each following their own complex and rich paths.

Through my creative actions, I question the landscape and social conditions in my own life, as well as the relationships among “the land, the body (farming), and ‘For Sale’ signs.” Drawing on my confusion about the state of the land and the contradictions in my thoughts, I propose a creative approach: using farming materials to sell the land and using the “For Sale” sign to cultivate the land. This inspired “Method 1: Contradictions of Differences in Mixed Uses” and “Method 2: Material Connections.” The practical implementation of these methods gave rise to the work Cultivating a Piece of Land Sale. This text describes the pre-production conception of the problem, the production methods, and the implementation and performance of Cultivating a Piece of Land Sale.
