《燃後》小誌從策劃、採訪、寫稿、編輯、排版、印刷一直到出版，都由應用藝術研究所的同學執行，是學生以出版作為藝術實踐的路徑，從校園走入地方，開始去關切和理解所在土地與非人物種。亦即，拋開人類中心主義，將自身作為節點，進行橫向連結，學習以廣袤與微觀的雙重視角，多維多層地看進世界。採訪四位專家，透過觀察、記錄、訪談環境生態的現況以及歷史和生活故事，讓在地議題融入小誌內容，展開地方性、公共性的對話，逐步理解在地，想像未來。
The preparation of the Sixth Fuel Factory Zine—including planning, interviewing, writing, editing, typesetting, printing, and publishing—was entirely carried out by students from the Institute of Applied Arts. This project provides an opportunity for students to engage in artistic creation through publishing, allowing them to move beyond the campus and into the local community, where they can learn to care about and understand the land and non-human species. In other words, they are prompted to set aside anthropocentrism, using themselves as nodes to create lateral connections and learning to adopt both macroscopic and microscopic perspectives to view the world in a multidimensional and multilayered manner. Four experts were interviewed for the zine. Through a combination of observations, records, and interviews on the current eco-environmental state, as well as histories and personal stories, the students incorporated local issues into the content of the zine, initiating local and public dialogues to gradually understand the area and envision the future.
